EQUINE PORTRAITURE
Equine Portraiture is incredibly important to those who understand what deep connections equestrians have with their horses. The opportunity to immortalize your equine partner, best friend, that horse you will remember for the duration of your life, is something I hold near & dear to my heart.
As a fellow equestrian, I completely understand the importance to capture a horse & their personality onto canvas. Photographs are incredible forms of remembrance, but something about the physicality of paint, brings an essence of life to the subject of the painting.

Creating portraiture is a tedious and time-consuming practice, meaning that doing it right takes time anywhere between 5-50+ hours depending on size and complexity. Please take that into consideration when requesting a portrait if needed on a specific timeframe.
Upon request, after consultation, there will be a 50% nonrefundable deposit required before commencement of commission. The remainder of the payment will be paid when the commissioned piece is completed. Additional subjects require an extra fee as well as background elements or additional requests, which will be quoted on a case-to-case basis.
You must provide a clear, detailed, high resolution image to be used as reference for commission as well as multiple reference images if needed. Please make sure to obtain the photographer’s permission if necessary. Low resolution images will NOT be accepted due to the level of detail required for the artwork. These images can be sent via email, via Dropbox, via Google Drive or a physical photograph mailed to me and will be reviewed prior to commencement. If needed, I can provide advice in selecting image for replication. If photograph(s) is mailed, I will return photograph(s) after completion of commission.
Progress photographs are likely to be promoted online through social media platforms belonging to myself – unless otherwise agreed. The final piece will also be added to my online portfolio via social media and direct website.
